  1. Enjoyed reading your blog and your “About me” page. Thanks for being so honest.

  2. Hi Jeff,

    I’m Christov10, a guy blogs anonymously at christov10.wordpress.com.

Like Jacquelyn, your About page struck a chord with me. I came to faith in Christ at about the age of nine. Although I didn’t turn to alcohol and drugs until my 18th birthday, I had fairly serious living problems before then. The fact of my salvation or Christianity, or whatever the technical term may be, did not give me a pass on some statistical near-inevitabilities. From the perspective of nearly 26 years later, I can say I’m about 80 to 85 percent (most of the time) glad it didn’t.

Love? Man, for most of my life I would have settled for feeling some justification for the fact of my existence and a sense that it was okay for me to occupy any space. I guess when I was drunk, I didn’t feel the lack as much.

Thanks for writing plainly about yourself. You have a ministry.

  3. Hi Jeff,

  7. Hi There Jeff!

My, what an interesting blog and story! I too, like you, have travelled that long, winding, confusing path of errors, mistakes, guilt and regrets. I am trying to find my way closer to God, and I feel as if I have a purpose, but I still struggle nonetheless.
Please visit my blog too. The first post, titled SEARCHING FOR THE LIGHT: ONE WOMAN’S JOURNEY is my background story. You might find it interesting. I am subcribing to your site. I am in the process of creating some inspirational print products. I may call upon you to contribute, through quotes and excerpts of your writings, on those products. You would of course receive full copyright credit. It will be high visibility products and would serve to create exposure for your blog and your message. I think your opinions are very timely as their are so many lost to the revages of addictions who are looking for a way out of the muck and mire.

    • Hello Serena! I did take a look at your blog and I plan to go back to take more of it in very soon! Your print idea sounds interesting, I’d like to hear more about it. Thanks for the comment and for the subscription, God Bless!

  8. Jeff, I just got your e-mail message in response to one of my earlier blog articles. To continue that discussion, please e-mail me directly, at mwp1212[AT]gmail.com or mark_w_pettigrew@hotmail.com.

It’s a real blessing to see from your blog that you’re now serving the Lord. It would seem that we have a lot to catch up on.

  9. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier and commenting. I’ve enjoyed what I have seen of yours – and love the quote by John G. Lake that you posted on my blog. :) John G. Lake is one inspiring dude… and I too want to see the church walking in the fullness of what Jesus purchased for us! Keep rocking steady, Mr. Jeff! :)

  10. Your message is fresh and timeless. I appreciate the creativity and writing skill you display–wonderful God-given gifts. Come visit my blog sometime and make suggestions….Joyce (aka Harmlessjoyce)

    • Thank you Joyce for what you said, you are very kind!

There have been only a precious few things in my life (if any) that I’ve applied myself to, to the degree that I have in the 5-6 years that I’ve been blogging. It’s taught me so much about things like word usage and sentence structure, but much more than that it’s taught me about who I am and has given me a sense of purpose that’s been a catalyst in my life. I visited your site and enjoyed reading your work I was so pleased to see that it also coveys the same message of encouragement your visit lent to mine!

      Remain Blessed!

  11. Hey, I decided to try this again, I always need a place to write my thoughts down before they are lost into oblivion. Perhaps you can help me get this figured out slowly but surely. I am assuming you can find my blog from this comment. See ya
